| Welcome to my Listening Post |
I've enjoyed receiving distant signals since the 1960's. Began when I received my first transistor radio as a gift. I listened to the boss jocks on local KQV, but why stop there? Also, too easy watching local Pittsburgh TV. Why do so when I occasionally received exotic Altoona or Johnstown TV.
Over the years I've collected a large amount of souvenirs, QSL cards, letters, stickers, recordings, etc from stations around the world.
The website is a work in progress. I'm adding new content as time allows.

I do not use ActiveX controls. I do not use bots. I do not use cookies. I do not use tracking pixels. My hosting provider does collect visitor information for statistical purposes. The information is general in nature such as browser type and links clicked.
The website was originally written in 2008 using a simple text editor (version 1.x). The site was completely, from top to bottom, rewritten, for, hopefully, a better visitor experience, in 2022 (version 2.x) and another complete rewrite in 2024 (version 3.x). Not everything at my website is considered as standard. That's OK with me as I really detest how it's popular for one site to look identical, except for content, to another site. In other words cookie cutter sites. Not happening here! No way, no how.
Images tweaked with Microsoft Digital Image Pro 10, Microsoft Office Picture Manager or GIMP.
Here's to interesting listening. 73 | |
